Diploma in Christian Ministry

The Diploma in Christian Ministry (30269QLD) is part of a group of Christian Ministry qualifications developed in Queensland in 2002. It is designed to be flexible enough to encompass the varied theology and practice of all Christian churches.

This diploma is one of the qualifications offered by LocalNet. By joining ACOM's LocalNet and beginning a training institute, local churches and other organisations are able to deliver this qualification, in their location with their own emphasis.

The Diploma is the equivalent of two years fulltime study and has the Cert IV imbedded within it. The Diploma comprises nine competencies, eight compulsory and one elective. It can be delivered in many different contexts and locations including overseas.

The Diploma is designed to be taught using experiential learning methods and is a very practical learning tool. The prerequisite for this Diploma is the Certificate IV in Christian Ministry.

Recognised Prior Learning (RPL) is available for all Qualifications and Competencies provided by ACOM through the LocalNet program.
