Entry requirements

  1. To be admitted to the Master of Arts, Graduate Diploma in Arts or Graduate Certificate in Arts, applicants will have successfully completed a 3-year bachelor award, or its equivalent, from an approved University; or hold from a University or other tertiary institution, qualifications approved by the SCD Postgraduate Studies Coursework Committee as equivalent to the requirements set out above.
  2. The Academic Committee may recommend to the SCD Postgraduate Studies Committee the admission of students whose qualifications are deemed equivalent to those in point 1 above.
  3. Every enrolment to the Master of Arts shall be conditional on the candidate having been involved in the practice of ministry for at least 3 years.
  4. Bridging studies do not attract credit towards the Master of Arts, but may be undertaken concurrently with Master of Arts studies, provided the graduate units being undertaken do not depend on the qualifying work.
